2bit Rating Guide

Reader: “Hey Tom and Brian, how do you come up with your review scores?”

Us: “Well that’s a great questions imaginary review reader that I just made up to write this ratings guide”.

We chose the 5 star rating because it allows to express our feelings about a game without getting into categories, averages, decimals, grades or anything else whiny fanboys seem to obsess about.  A 3 star rating isn’t a 60% or a C, it’s just a 3 star rating.  We also don’t do 1/2 stars because if we did we would just be creating a 10 star rating in disguise.  Here’s a more detailed breakdown: 

We try to review as many games as we can but since there are only 2 of us we’re a bit limited.  Please remember that our reviews are our personal opinions and in no way should effect how you feel about a game.
