Assassin’s Creed 2-Online Multiplayer?
While waiting for the 2 DLC packs coming this month and next we got more big news from Ubisoft. According to Ubisoft’s 2009 fiscal third quarter results, it states that a new “episode” of Assassin’s Creed featuring online multiplayer will be released in its 2011 fiscal year, which begins April 2010.
The results read, “The 2010-11 fiscal year will see a greater number of franchise releases than fiscal year 2009-10, including”…”a new episode of Assassin’s Creed, which will be the first in the series to have an online multiplayer mode.”
It has also been revealed that this will not be DLC but “ an entirely new product” featuring Ezio and it will pick up where Assassin’s Creed 2 left off.
It’s way too early for a full-on sequel and if it’s not DLC then what? Any speculations?
